WHO ARE WE?

Thames Christian Fellowship Congregation is a member of the Canadian National Baptist Convention. We average 50 people per week worshiping in a renovated, former furniture store that we own. We are a friendly church open to others. We fellowship after each Sunday service. This gives us an opportunity to embrace newcomers in a comfortable, non-threatening environment. We also share quarterly potluck meals as a church family. Our music style at TCF is eclectic, blending older hymns with newer praise songs. It is always spirit-filled and heartfelt. Our worship involves multimedia and an online presence.

We are in the heart of a farming community of 104,000 citizens in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, with the city of Chatham proper having a population of 45,000 people. Our church is strategically located in Chatham for outreach ministry. We are encouraged by our recent church growth and believe that God has provided us a unique opportunity to serve Him in this community. At present, our congregation is largely made up of older, mature Christians. Currently we do not have a Children’s Ministry, but we are hoping to see growth in this area. It is our deepest desire to continue this growth not merely to fill the seats in our church but to expand the kingdom of God.
