ot only giving of their time, but are also giving up a summer where they could be working.  If you ask student missionaries to provide significant funds on top of this, there will be fewer students who will be able to consider your request.

\par NOTE: NAMB will cover travel (flight) expenses to and from the field, for students who serve 31 days or longer. So you are much more likely to receive a missionary if you will host them at least 31 days.
