These words have profound significance and purpose for our team.
Church - We exists for our churches. There is no top down mentality here. We have a deep desire to serve the local church and help them fulfill the mission God has for them in their setting.
Strengthen - We believe churches are strengthened as they learn to give themselves away. Our team seeks to network existing churches to assist each other. Churches Strengthening Churches...Pastor Strengthening Pastors. We really do need each other.
Team - We are a team. Men and women from all different walks of life who share a common passion to see churches and leaders enjoy the journey with Christ and finish well. We are asking God to give us Church Strengtheners in every region across Canada to join our team.
Facilitate - We recognize we cannot force churches to cooperate, we can only pray, recommend, encourage and network in hopes that churches and pastors will see the value in working together.
Inter-dependence - In contrast to the lone ranger, independent minded churches, we unapolegically challenge churches to cooperate together. We believe we can do more together than on our own.
Christ-focused - While churches often talk about an inward or outward focus, we encourage churches to have a Christ-focus. When He is our focus we have a proper perspective on reaching outward in evangelism and looking inward to go deeper in discipleship. It really is all about His glory.
Kingdom-minded - As mentioned earlier, we share a great love and passion for the church. We also realize God desires for his kingdom to be established. His rule and reign in the hearts of men and women across Canada and around the world cause us to work with and celebrate what God is doing with other great commission Christians.
