"This trip had a big impact on me, ... I [am] now open to living a life in missions..."
"The insight we gained while in Vancouver has opened my eyes to similar needs in my own city."
"This mission trip has changed my life forever."
Each fall, the Canadian National Baptist Convention promotes the Canadian Mission Offering – or more aptly, “Canadians On Mission” Offering. It is received solely from our CNBC churches and the funds are used to help CNBC churches, ministers and students to be "on mission."
Churches may request grants for evangelism (sharing Jesus) and church starting projects. In addition, a church may use some of the money to send a volunteer team to help another church or partner with a ministry project, such as Baptist Builders or Disaster Relief.
Students who are members of a CNBC church can apply for a grant toward the cost of a mission trip within Canada or to any country.
Ministers and their spouses are encouraged to use grants from the Canadians on Mission Offering to go on a mission trip to work alongside one of the 15 international mission families connected to the CNBC.
