Qualifications and Restrictions

  • no application will be accepted unless the church applying is a cooperating Southern Baptist church in agreement with the Canadian National Baptist Convention's purpose
  • applications will not be considered until a church is giving 10% to the Cooperative Program or displays a pattern of increased giving to the Cooperative Program
  • This part of the CMO is designed to assist churches with unique outreach events. Churches planning creative outreach opportunities in their community would be given consideration for these funds. The CNBC will continue to partner with churches in all types of evangelistic requests by contacting the Evangelism team.
  • applications will not be considered without an evaluation of leadership and future potential of the work
  • no grant will exceed $2,000

 

Priority will be given:

  • to those who have not received money previously
  • to projects that will expand ministry and evidence potential for growth
  • to growing churches
  • to those churches who support the CNBC mission endeavour through the Cooperative Program and CNBC special offering (CMO)
