"Ministers Experiencing Missions" Grant
from the Canadians On Mission Offering
These funds are specifically to enable "ministers and their spouses" to experience an international missions trip.
Qualifications and Restrictions
- The minister (pastor or pastoral staff member) must be serving at a CNBC church.
- The mission trip must be related to one of our CNBC/IMB International Missionary Connections. Contact the CNBC office for an updated list.
- First time applications from any particular church will be given priority.
- The minister's local church must take some responsibility for sharing the costs of the mission experience. Each application wll be considered on its own merit and the available funds.
- Applications will be considered from ministers whose churches are giving 10% to the Cooperative Program (CP) or displaying a pattern of increased CP giving (this does not apply to seeds that have not begun taking an offering).
- Applications will be considered from ministers who are in agreement with the Canadian National Baptist Convention mission.
- A letter of endorsement will be required from the minister's church expressing its support of this missions experience.
Availability of grants is dependent on funds being available from the Canadian Mission Offering.
To Apply
- Read the CNBC mission. Affirm your agreement.
- Prayerfully consider which of the families serving internationally you will support on your trip. Contact the Missions Ministry Leader at the CNBC for a current list of personnel and opportunities.
- An application is required for each minister making a request for these funds. Download the application. Complete the printed copy and submit it along with the church letter of endorsement.
