ESL - English as a Second Language

Missions / Partnerships and Volunteers / Students

ESL Ministries

A great way to reach out to immigrants and internationals in your neighbourhood is to offer ESL (English as a Second Language) conversation classes.

We have trained workshop leaders in several provinces.  If your church is interested in starting a ministry to refugees, immigrants, international students and/or foreign workers, please contact us.  We can help by training volunteers in a 16 hour workshop to teach conversational English.

Offering ESL Bible studies or using the Bible in English classes can open many spiritual conversations and lead people to meet the One who can help them with more than their language skills.

Here are some Bible Stories and lessons to get you started.
