Canadians on Mission Offering
This offering is typically collected in the fall each year.
Your church will receive in the mail from CNBC:
- Canadians on Mission Prayer Guides (telling the stories of Canadians on mission, published by CNBC)
- Posters
- Offering Envelopes
If you want to change the quantity you receive, please contact the CNBC office.
The local church collects this special offering and sends one cheque to CNBC, designated for CMO.
CNBC distributes the funds according to grant requests:
- 10% for sharing Christ projects
- 10% for church starting projects
- 20% for sending volunteer teams on mission trips
- 30% for sending students, as well as ministers and their spouses on mission trips
- 30% for construction ministry projects.
The amount each church gives will be recorded and reported in The Baptist Horizon.
In 2008, CNBC churches gave $59,371.94, just $628.06 short of the 2008 goal of $60,000!
