Canadians On Mission Offering Info

Missions / Partnerships and Volunteers / Students

"This trip had a big impact on me, ... I [am] now open to living a life in missions..."

"The insight we gained while in Vancouver has opened my eyes to similar needs in my own city."

"This mission trip has changed my life forever."

The Canadians on Mission Offering (CMO) is received solely from our CNBC churches and funds are used to help CNBC churches, ministers, and students to be “on mission.” This reflects our passion to “give ourselves away.”  This special offering enables us to encourage ministry and missions in a way that every church can be involved.

Churches may request grants to cover a portion of the cost to send a volunteer team to help another church or partner with a ministry project.  Students who are members of a CNBC church can apply for a grant toward a portion of the cost of a mission trip to a CNBC/Southern Baptist related ministry across Canada or the world.  Ministers and their spouses can apply for a grant to go on an international mission trip to serve alongside an International Mission Board missionary and to build a partnership with that family and their CNBC church.

CMO promotion is mailed to churches in late summer.  You may promote the offering at any time of the year and send your church's cheque to the CNBC designated 'CMO'.
