Not-to-dos:
* The CCSB will not totally fund any project – the local congregation must demonstrate initiative and responsibility
* The CCSB will not place student ministry personnel in areas with no church or no church planting vision
* The CCSB will not enable chronically unhealthy churches and leaders
* The CCSB will not promote programs or activities without cultural and regional adaptation
Un-dos:
* The CCSB will undo a one-model philosophy of church and church planting
* CCSB will undo any welfare mentality in our churches and our leaders
* The CCSB will undo a “growth-without-evangelism” mentality
* The CCSB will undo any racial, ethnic, generational, regional or country of origin prejudice
Must-Dos:
* Discovering, developing and multiplying Christ-like leaders will be the highest priority of CCSB staff
* We must hold staff accountable for CCSB vision and goals
* We must bless and empower and make way for the next generation leaders
* Prayer and evangelism must permeate everything we do
* We must be relentless in church planting
* We must improve communication with staff, leaders and churches
Learn-to-dos:
* We must learn to do crisis and conflict management
* We must learn to plant different church models
* We must learn to make our churches safe
* We must learn to use our own skilled practitioners as presenters
* We must learn to help pastors to challenge the emerging generation to respond to God’s call
* We must learn to communicate to every generation
* We must learn to function as a multi-ethnic convention
* We must learn to communicate our vision more effectively (Why should I participate in the CCSB?)
Breakthroughs:
* We need a breakthrough in embracing generational congregations
* We need a breakthrough of Canadians taking ownership of the CCSB
* We need a breakthrough to discover and cultivate Quebecois leaders
* We need a breakthrough in evangelism
* We need a breakthrough in reaching cities over 20,000 with a church to population ratio over 1:5,000
* We need a breakthrough in building partnerships with SBC churches and associations
* We need a breakthrough to discover and cultivate First Nations leaders.
* We need a breakthrough in the development of healthy associations.
